About Azad Hind government

*The Provisional Government of Free India, or, all the more just, Free India (Azad Hind), was an Indian provincial government set up in occupied Singapore in 1943.
*It was inspired by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose who was the leader of Azad Hind Government and also the Head of State of this Provisional Indian Government-in-exile.
*It was a part of the freedom development, beginning in 1940s outside India with a motivation behind aligning with Axis Power to free India from British rule.
*The presence of the Azad Hind Government gave a more prominent authenticity to the independence struggle against the British.
*Relevantly, the role of Azad Hind Fauj or the Indian National Army (INA) had been crucial in handing down a truly necessary force to India's struggle for Independence.
*Under the provisional government, Bose was the head of the state, the prime minister and the minister for war and foreign affairs. Captain Lakshmi headed the women’s organisation while S A Ayer headed the publicity and propaganda wing.
*Bose’s death was seen as the end to the Azad Hind movement. The Second World War, also ended in 1945 with the defeat of the Axis powers
